You should have marked it as shipped the day you posted it, you will probably be hit with a late dispatch now on your account.
Go to Orders > Manage Orders - Find the order in the “Unshipped” tab and on the right click on “Confirm Shipment” (note if you purchased shipping through Amazon, or Click and Drop etc this may have been done automatically for you)

I would uncheck ship by today as well - as your order would be possibly a few days overdue at this stage, and isn’t ship by today - click on all dates

In terms of industry-standard “best practice”, an order is “shipped” the moment you pick any part of it. I’m unsure as to the exact reasons for this but I would assume it’s down to the fact that you have spent time (and hence money) picking the order.
However when it comes to ecommerce websites like Amazon, you usually need to upload a tracking number at the same time as despatch, meaning the item has to have a shipping label printed, which usually means it has been packed.
Generally it is best to mark an order as shipped as soon as you have the tracking ID available.

I thought you must be a new seller, but see you have been on here since 2016 !
Hopefully you do realise that you will not be paid for the sale until you confirm shipment, and as other posts have said, you will probably end up with a late dispatch now.
Make sure when you do confirm dispatch that you do it correctly, to comply with the VTR metric.
