Charged £30 for the professional seller plan even though i signed up to the indivodual selling plan

Charged £30 for the professional seller plan even though i signed up to the indivodual selling plan

I signed up to start selling products on Amazon a few days ago, and even though i was told if i downgraded my account to an individual selling plan as soon as i joined, i wouldnt be charged, Amazon still took £30 from my account

i then opened a case with support (as advised) but no response or refund to date. Case ID 9839131622

This is extremely frustrating, please can i get a nudge from the support team to process my refund so i can start selling on the individual plan?

When you click on the 'sign up' button, you are automatically signed up for the professional selling plan, so they will take the £30. As you know you need to downgrade to the individual plan - hopefully you did that correctly ?

You go to settings (cog wheel top right) - account info - manage your services - Sell on Amazon - Sell on Amazon - again ! - click on 'individual button - apply changes.

To get a refund of the fee you need to open a case with Seller Support 'help' and request a refund.

Not sure if you are in UK, but if you are hopefully you are aware you need to be registered with HMRC as self-employed, have received your UTR and supplied to Amazon to have a BUSINESS seller account on Amazon. (please ignore last advice if you know - but there are so many new sellers do not know !)
