I was signed up to a professional seller plan without my knowledge. I cancelled the account straight away and was advised to wait until the 30 day period had ended and not use the account.
I did this around 2 weeks ago (Case ID 10391722812) and yet to have any update other than it was transferred. Is there anyway I can chase this up? Amazon support it usually so good but i'm really struggling on this one.
As my account is deactivated the only support case I can raise is the attached so stuck in limbo a bit i feel.

if your account was still going through verification then you couldn’t have cancelled it. Do you mean you downgraded it yourself from professional to individual selling plan? If so this is the correct way. You need to get verified - then ask for a refund
”Amazon support it usually so good but i'm really struggling on this one.”
Wonders will never cease! It sure isn’t my experience.
As soon as you click on the orange 'Sign Up' button on the Amazon page, that automatically signs you up for the professional selling plan (you need to read the small print under the button !).
Cancelling the account was NOT the right thing to do, and as said, if it was not fully verified than you cannot cancel anyway. You can downgrade the selling plan by going to cog wheel top right - account info - manage your services, sell on Amazon - same again - then click on the individual button, not professional.
You can request a refund of the unused fee by opening a case with seller support. I am amazed that you feel that Amazon support is 'so good' - you are in a minority !!
