Selling an identical item
Hi,
I’m very new to selling on Amazon and I just need to check. There is the exact item on amazon for sale that I want to list, I know Amazon like you to add to the identical listing but the difference is I only have one variation of the product and the listing that is identical has 4 variations. When I go to add to the current listing it doesn’t give me the option to type in my variation that I have available. Do I need to add this as new listing instead or am I missing something?
Apologies if this sounds like a basic question, I’m not having much luck finding out an answer and don’t want to do it wrong. I hope that makes sense!
Thanks.

I haven’t come across this but as a guess, just put your available inventory for the 3 variations you don’t have as zero.

Not too sure, but does each varation have a different ASIN ?
Would you be willing to provide what the item is (ASIN etc.), as this may help others on here answer your question? Obviously, some people don’t like to divulge this information, which is fine.
