Postage of High Value Item to France from the UK
Hi All
I have sold an item that is of high value +£2000 to be fulfilled by myself to an address in France.
What courier would people use to protect the item and make sure it is delivered correctly preferably with a photo and or a request for ID.

DPD usually take photos on delivery. I don’t know any that ask for ID unless age restricted items are involved.

Whoever you use make sure you have appropriate carrier insurance and that the type of goods are not excluded from insurance by their Ts & Cs. Many carriers will not accept liability for goods of that value especially when send overseas.
International insurance provisions are not the same as domestic ones so don’t assume that anything you have covered in the UK would be the same to France…
