Cannot list product, Amazon not helping, going roud in circles
I have been going round and round in circles. Amazon keeps shutting down my case logs and telling me to open another. I keep asking the same questions but no one is answering me. I have had this issue since the start of December 2018. I am pulling my hair out. Please, can someone help me?
Can anyone tell me how to place a listing for a non-alcoholic spirit, Seedlip and Cedars have managed to place their products in Grocery > Beer, Wine & Spirits > Spirits > Gin and Grocery > Beer, Wine & Spirits > Spirits > Liqueurs.
Every time I try to list my product, Amazon keeps asking me for a “Personal License” & a “Premises License”, I have explained to them many many time I do not need one. When I place my listing it keeps going into Category Approval Request for gl_wine which isn’t the category I am trying to request.

You won’t be able to sell in those categories without approval AFAIK.

To Sell Alcohol on Amazon requires approval , Amazon will insist on the following documents to be submitted prior to approval, this is Amazon policy.
Personal Alcohol License Validation Document (UK)
Premises Alcohol License Validation Document (UK)
Proof of VAT Validation Document (UK)

Don’t place it in the category that’s usually full of ‘alcohol’
Remember, Amazon is run by bots. If it looks like gin, and smells like gin, and sells like gin, as far as they’re concerned. It’s gin.
The competitor might already sell ‘alcoholic’ items too, in which case they won’t face the same issue, as they’ll already have approval for the category, and the appropriate licences, even though they don’t actually need it for that item.
