Read onlyHI all,
I'm seeking assistance with a persistent issue that has impacted my ability to manage my business effectively. Despite numerous attempts to resolve it, I haven't received a satisfactory resolution yet.
The problem revolves around a notification that we received that we do not meet the definition of being EU established for VAT purposes. We have received no payments from Amazon since Jan Jan 3 and now have over EUR34,000 that we cannot access.
We are a fully registered VAT compliant company in Germany, I have provided company accounts lodged by our accountants, bank statements showing where VAT is paid by our company. I have supplied a letter from the tax authorities to show that our VAT is fully paid and up to date. They are now insisting that we owe over EUR106,00 in back payments for VAT.
I have called our account health specialist so many times, they keep insisting that everything appears ok at their end, just to wait for a response. The response we get is different every time, sometimes requesting the same information over and over again.
I have also escalated a complaint to management-ape@amazon.lu where apparently I will receive a response in 14 days but I have yet to receive one.
I just don't know where to go from here. I think its time to receive legal advice, is there anyone else currently in this situation ??
Looking forward to any insights and suggestions. Thanks!
