The “ Big Boys”
Is it just me or does anyone notice the big boys putting on multiple copies to give themselves more profile,or possibly selling as another seller but essentially as the same company.Of course being so large they may genuinely have multiple copies but I am sceptical. It’s bad enough with their algorithms -has anyone tried to see how far they will reduce to be the lowest price? Perhaps a bit pointless as they are getting items for pennies.I was offered 23p by the Big Bird for a copy they were selling for £23.00.

This is the one that annoys me. There are several large booksellers using multiple accounts to sell the same copy (singular) of a book. Taking up all the space on the page and reducing the visibility of copies available from other sellers.
Also totally against Amazon’s multiple accounts policy though some have been doing it for years.

When I first started selling books on Amazon in 2004, we could report a seller who was hogging a page and they had to delete all but one copy. It’s very disheartening trying to compete with these ‘Big Boys’ and their downward spiralling prices.
