Seems to be a lot of this on my FBA listings. Is this a new initiative on Amazon’s part as of late?

 It’s been around since 2017/18 if I remember correctly. 
 Amazon funds the discount, so you get the same amount. 
 But I’m sure it is just a way to drive prices down. Amazon eventually stop the discount, buyers notice the price difference so stop buying, the seller has to then lower the price to compensate. 
 That or I’m being pessimistic… <img src="/forums/images/emoji/twitter/thinking.png?v=6" title=":thinking:" class="emoji" alt=":thinking:" />
