Rachelle

Hi @Seller_uibVNL1xgZ2lT,
i have switched the case to Pending Amazon Action. This should help getting attention from Support and sometimes helps.

Hey Rachelle,
Thanks a ton for switching the case to "Pending Amazon Action"! Your move could really speed things up, and I'm crossing my fingers for a quick resolution.
By the way, I totally agree with your tactic. Sometimes nudging Support a bit gets them moving, right? :))
Oh, and speaking of the brands and ASINs, I've been telling Support that I don't have control over any of that stuff. I mean, I don't own the brands, nor do I control the GTIN, UPC, Brand, or Manufacturer details. I'm just trying to add listings for these ASINs, you know? There's definitely something funky going on with them that's causing headaches for us sellers.
Looks like Amazon Support is still pushing for that info, but I'm stuck because, like I said, I don't own these brands. It's a bit frustrating, but hopefully, we can get this sorted soon!
Anyway, thanks again for your help, Rachelle. You're a lifesaver! :))

Hi @Seller_uibVNL1xgZ2lT,
no problem! Actually I can see in some notes, that for the SKU you are trying to use, you already had it in use with a different ASIN. Not sure why it wasn't mentioned in the last message. But in that case it is not possible to reuse this SKU (xxxxxx1143459) with another ASIN.

Hey Rachelle,
Thanks a bunch for digging into this for me! Your help is seriously appreciated.
So, about the SKU situation... I actually have this whole system where I give each product a unique SKU. It starts with a code that tells me which marketplace it's for. Like, for Germany, it's "de" followed by some numbers. So yeah, I tried using that format for the SKU you mentioned (xxxxxx1143459), but no luck. Same error every time, no matter what I do.
I even tried uploading the file with the SKU starting with "de" (like dexxxxxx1143459), but it was a no-go. Got hit with error 8567: "SKU dexxxxxx1143459 does not match any ASIN and contains invalid values for attributes required for creation of a new ASIN." Ugh.
Then there's this weird thing where I tried using the original SKU (xxxxxx1143459) without the "de" prefix, and it worked... kinda. The product showed up in "Manage Inventory" but not in "FBA Inventory".... :(
The product is like FBA because it have a buttons "Change to Fulfilled by Merchant" and "Send/Replenish inventory" (looks good) and this item has status is "Inactive (Out of Stock)" (very nice!) that the normal status if item not have quantity in FBA. BUT when i try to click button "Send/Replenish inventory" just gave me a:
Merchant SKU already exists. Merchant SKUs cannot be reused, even if a previous offer using the SKU has been deleted. Please use a new SKU to create this offer. and this is the my way end...
I also tried adding the product manually through "Add Products," but it kept ending up in "Incomplete listings" with the same darn error message.
It's very complicaterd situation, I try to generate unique (numbers and letters eg.: ABC-12345) SKU. and nothing changes. always the same result (error)
It's driving me crazy, Rachelle! Any thoughts on what I should try next?
Thanks a million for your help!

Hi @Seller_uibVNL1xgZ2lT,
excuse my late reply. May I assume that you have created listings in the past on other stores that already have the same data and you wish to create them as well for e.g. DE store? In this case you can't create a new ASIN. For "merchant_suggested_asin" you should then use the ASIN you got in the other stores for that listing.
Best Regards
Rachelle
