Viewing Amazon Customer messages

Can anyone tell me how to see the whole of a customer’s message on the screen? I am having dreadful problems reading the messages as I can only see one line at a time on a very narrow box on the screen.

The whole screen is full of nonsense that I don’t need to see but the message is almost completely obscured by other lines and boxes. I am viewing it on my laptop using Firefox, I have tried Chrome but it is no better.

It has been like this for a long time since they ‘improved’ the message system, how does everyone else access customer messages as I just can’t see the messages properly. I have tried everything I can think of to expand the box but can’t get it to open up at all.

This is all I can see that narrow line, how am I supposed to read that?

Thank you I had tried zooming on the message and nothing was working. But your suggestion made me look at adjusting the zoom on the menu on the right and IT WORKED!!!

I have to increase it to 150 before I can see the message but now I can read them. I cannot believe how long I have been fighting with this ridiculous thing. I had tied zooming before but it was not making any difference but I had not increased it to more than 140. I have to actually take it to 150 before it suddenly alters the view of the screen and the incoming message shows up.

What an utterly crazy system, then whole thing is so large that I lose everything else on the screen, but now I can read the message. Then to reply I have to take it back to 100 because the send button will not show when it is zoomed to 150.

Thank you, everyone, for your suggestions, you have been so helpful. I have no idea why it will not work at the normal size but it doesn’t. Today’s nervous breakdown has been averted, I wonder what tomorrow’s will be. :slight_smile: :slight_smile:

Apologies if this has already been mentioned/tried, but if it helps, you should be able to read buyer messages within the Message Centre on the buying side of your account, rather than on the seller side. All emails from Amazon go there, whether it’s listing emails, emails regarding your purchases, or messages from your customers. I think you still need to be in your buyer account to reply, but you should at least be able to read buyer messages in the Message Centre.

Sorry if this has been suggested as well. HAve you tried pressing Ctrl + - (minus key) to zoom out the browser - it may help.

Do you see the box that says PLEASE LIMIT YOUR RESPONSE…

In the bottom right hand corner there some lines if you click and drag your mouse over that it will increase or decrease the size of that box.

That may alter the box above with the text you want to read.
