Variations

Hi
I sell other companies products and when I list variations sometimes they are not on amazon listed ie s,m might be sold by other sellers so I can add mine but l,xl are not on there so I go in the add a variation and I see the options so i fill in the details but it never comes up for sale under the listing just the original ones how do i make them live?
