Account is not being verified?

I have been a seller on Amazon since early 2017, and I wanted to start doing business in UK. So i opened a amazon sellers account for UK (which is $29.99 a month). I have begun the process of verification for my sellers account by providing all my business documents and a piece of my government ID.

The seller verification team responds saying they need addition piece of my government ID, ok no problem so I give them my birth certificate and my drivers license.

They say they can’t read my birth certificate and to resubmit it (which is weird because I scanned it…)

So I do resubmit my birth certificate.

And now 7 days later they say they have received all the required information and are in the process of verifying my account.

Now I have no possible idea why this process should take more than 7 businesses days, you have my all my personal information + government ID’s and additionally all my business information, which you can easily verify by calling a government office in Canada.

The funny part is in the last 4 days I opened a second sellers account (for business purposes) on the North American platform and within 2 days my information was verified and approved! So here I am with Amazon UK at 7 days and I was approved in 3 days with Amazon USA/Canada.

So my question is why is Amazon UK verification process so inefficient and why haven’t I been approved after given all my required business information and personal documents (Drivers license + birth certificate)?
