Read onlyI am writing to report a very unusual issue with my product listings. The images I uploaded years ago in Seller Central are not appearing on the product detail page. Instead, competitors' images are being displayed on my ASINs, which is completely incorrect, unethical, and potentially illegal. This has led to an increase in customer returns, negative reviews, and poor ratings.
It's important to note that my product images are correctly placed in Seller Central with no changes or removals. However, the product detail page is showing entirely different images.
Please investigate this matter urgently and resolve it as soon as possible. I have opened the case with Amazon but still issue not resolved. Hers is the case ID: 10374055442
Please help if you can @Sakura_Amazon_@Ezra_Amazon@Julia_Amazon
it depends what you mean by competitors images.
If this is a branded product like say some Nike Trainers and years ago you created the listing with some photos you took, but now the listing uses some photos others took, but still of those Nike trainers, that is fine as that is how Amazon works.
If the images are of a completely different product then yes, it’s an issue, but then it would be a question of if you had brand registry?
Hello @Seller_Ef3AxArL6bVjT,
Thank you for posting.
Did you Report a Violation through the Report abuse tool?
Best,
Julia.
Not sure if this is linked but I have had a similar issue on one of my products whereby a competitor appears to be on my listing and I also have brand rights.
It is since this new AI feature has come in whereby Amazon seem to be going through all of the listings and making sometimes unwarranted changes.
I feel your pain on this one but unfortunately Amazon seller support don't seem to understand that issues can exist in the system that need addressing. I expect you will just get the usual generic messages sending you in the spin and will unfortunately have to fix the problem yourself.
Have you tried just reuploading some new content and adding some new images. Sometimes recreating the product with the same images can fix the issue.
We've had this issue ourselves where a completely different product from another seller is displayed against the odd ASIN occasionally.
I'd double check that the images you have submitted meet Amazon's image requirements as this seems to be their default reason for them not displaying images. But if they do meet the requirements and can prove that the ASINs belong to you and your brand then SS should reinstate them but it might take more than one attempt when you raise the case.
