First item to sell with no GTIN
Hello im a new seller and cannot get past the GTIN exemption page. I have applied several times and it says approved to list a product after 30 mins. When i try it just takes me back to the same page asking fior GTIN or other codes which i do not have.
Im selling in Tools and DIY and they are ceramic border tiles. They do not have any barcode as i made them myself
Any advice ?

Change the subcategory to home & kitchen - If I remember rightly its the 2nd or third subcategory. I thought my product was one subcategory but it turns out I was wrong. If your selling generic it should be “home & Kitchen”. Try that and see how you get on.

It can also take longer than 30 mins to be able to list. Pretty sure we had to wait ‘up to 48hrs’ - think it was more like 8 though
