Buy Shipping with linked Royal Mail account for SFP
Good afternoon all,
I have an Online Business Account with Royal Mail and attempting to set up SFP. SFP requires the use of the Buy Shipping button yet when I use the Buy Shipping option for my RM Tracked 24 service it is not updating the orders on RM Click & Drop. It just stays as an order, the tracking number doesn't update and doesn't get marked as dispatched.
Does anyone here use Royal Mail for SFP. If so, please can you let me know the process you use when using Buy Shipping?

I use it and purchase all shipping through Amazon Buy Shipping. It isn't connected to my RM Click and Drop OBA.
Just print out a separate manifest at the end of the day from Amazon Order reports and hand that to the RM collection

You use buy shipping instead of click and drop. Click and drop does not talk to Amazon buy shipping as they are independant systems.
You need to pull off a separate manifest by going to order reports and then click end of day reports and refresh the screen.
If you don't pull off a manifest by 6pm before your collection, the system will do an automatic sweep at 6pm.
When you use the buy shipping fuction, the order is updated and marked as dispatched when you confirm it.
You will probably find it easier to do all of your orders with buy shipping. If you use a mixture of both you will have to go into click and drop and then select all your prime orders and mark them off as dispatched by other courier or delete them.
The problem is that if you miss anything in click and drop you will get charged 2 postages and have 2 different labels. Worse still is if you dispatch from click and drop without realising its prime, it will mark it off on Amazon and you will end up getting penalised for not using buy shipping and fail the sfp stats.
