Asking for information about someone else
Why is it so difficult to contact amazon seller help?
They refuse to verify my bank statements and have asked for the ID of someone who is nothing to do with my account. There is no reply to address, no phone number, no way to explain they have the wrong details or ask for exactly which part of the seller agreement I am supposed to have violated.

If they are asking for ID of someone then they must be named on your account somewhere

Understood, thanks for that info.
When in reality it was me who added his card and we don’t share any login details or accounts, he has his own. I should be able to have other family member’s credit cards in my account without them assuming they’re also going to benefit from my seller account.
Even though I have removed his card I’m sure they won’t reinstate my seller account, so I may as well shut it down and start a brand new separate buyer and seller account. It’s just a pain in the behind as seller account is only mine.

Hi @sanricardo,
This is Pia from Amazon to assist you.
I understand that you need help with account reactivation.
As you are stating that, you have been requested information of someone else for verification. Can you explain how are you related to the person? Or how do you know the individual?
@Dedez Rightfully mentioned that name must be somewhere on your account related information.
Now, that you were able to find out that you have used the individual’s credit card. You can explain it to the appeals team the relationship between the individual and the selling account.
You can go through this two-step verification FAQ to find out how you can secure your account.
Also, read through this policy of Amazon Services Europe Business Solutions Agreement to understand which section of the policy may have been violated.
Please carefully go through the performance notification you have received during your account deactivation and follow the steps mentioned in order to get it reactivated.
Do let us know if you need any further assistance.
Thank you for your post. I hope my response is beneficial towards your business.
Regards,
Pia

Hello @sanricardo
This is Art from Amazon to assist you.
Answering to your question, use of someone else’s credit card on your buyer account and using someone else credit card on seller account, both are not the same.
While the query is regarding your seller account, I would request you to refer to the latest performance notification sent by our team to know what documents are required for submission.
Can you please verify who’s ID is the team asking for in the performance notification and what is your relation with them?
The URL will take you to your Account Health Dashboard and if you have already submitted an appeal then you will see there as your evaluation is still in progress. In that case I would request you to wait till our team reviews the information that you have submitted and will get back to with an update.
If you receiving OTP’s while logging in to your account that means that you have enabled the two-step verification and your account is safe and secure.
Once you receive an update on your appeal submission, you will be getting an option to submit an appeal through the account health dashboard where you can explain in detail if you feel that your account has been deactivated in error.
Additionally, you can also reach out to our account health support team for further assistance with your appeal, please go to Help > Get support > Selling on Amazon and click on ‘Get help with my appeal from Account Health Support’.
If you need any further assistance, you can post here so that we or any of the sellers on forum can help you.
Regards,
Art.
