Appealing Return Reason - "Arrived To Late"
We are a 3rd party seller not utilizing FBA. We are not looking to refuse any returns, but we do have a question about the ability to appeal the reason for a return. As selecting certain reasons seems to prevent us from charging return fees.
Specifically, we have a customer citing return reason as “arrived too late.” Selecting this reason for a return seems to not allowing the seller to charge for the cost of the return label which is causing issues for us.
Is there a way to still process the return, but appeal the reason for the return to allow us to charge applicable fees? The FedEx tracking shows the item was delivered multiple days before the end of the expected delivery window.

yes you can file a safe-t claim I believe… I have done it in the past for the same exact reason… there is an option like buyer used inaccurate return code
