Used Goods - Product Compliance?!

Simple question, I think, is it normal to get product compliance requests (requests for documentation) for items listed as used?

I had believed it was only when selling new goods, but I’m getting lots of them for secondhand items, listed clearly as used.

Yes it is. All you can do is wait and see if a seller on the same ASIN, but selling it new, jumps through the hoops with regards to the compliance request. You will then see the item removed from your list.
