Is this a good launching tactic?

This is the procedure I filtered from Youtube clips:

1/ Run Sponsored Ads for a product for a week (automated)
2/ Collect keywords after a week
3/ Collect more keywords using other software like Merchant Words
4/ List them in an excel file, ranking the 100 best keywords
5/ Put these 100 best keywords in the backend of the listing so they are indexed
6/ Run Sponsored Ads for this product with these keywords and offer 3-4% more PPC/keyword aggressively

I have no initial reviews I can fix, so coupons is not really an option yet.

Thank you

Would say getting the Buy Box is No1 without it everything you list is irrelevant.

I do Private Label so unique customized products with each it’s own new ASIN. Is it the buy box that relevant in my case? Thank you for the feedback.

to add to the mix, if you doing FBA; that will help with getting the ranking etc. Not sure what you are selling but if you do go FBA route, be careful how it is packed and how much you sending in. Especially initially and how to top it up as there are other factors in play.

Good luck!

Thank you for the valuable feedback! Much appreciated, I hope I don’t keep annoying you with these nood questions but… I have the pro-account for some months now so I’m in phase 1 of the plan I had in mind, running the ‘Sponsored Ads campaign’ in order to focus on keywords that is.

Maybe another question: how many keywords can I put in the back-end to be indexed?

I’ll do some more reading concerning this buy-box. Seems - as no one knows the buy-box algorithm - the keyword optimization route is the only certain way to go.

Thank you.

You’ve kind of baffled me with all the techy speak but, like you, I have my own brand so no other sellers. I sponsor everything until it’s on the first page or thereabouts of its relevant search and then stop and hope it will stay there on its own merit after that.

Re keywords, there used to be an option for five lines of them but it has recently been reduced to one. Is that what you are referring to as the ‘back end’?

I’ve never used automated keywords though I have read of others that have used your approach to test which ones have the most response.

I go on the basis that people are lazy and will click on one of Amazon’s suggestions so log in as a customer, start typing what my product is and then choose the words from their top suggestion in my category.
