FBA sent back covered in vomit
Hi there
Whats the chance I can get some sort of a reimbursement of an item thats been sent back covered in vomit. Its a customer return where the customer said it doesn’t fit.
This is a matter of principle. In extreme events like this there should be no grey areas - the customer should be recharged. Does Amazon refund like this when its own stock has been abused?

Disgusting - hope you’ve taken photos.

That’s absolutely revolting.
Yes due to refund on first scan & to be honest, I’m certain no one opens their returns and they just resell them on as they are.

If it was FBM then you should be able to raise a SAFE-T claim. Take plenty of pictures.

On another thread this week a Mod made it clear that Amazon does not reimburse FBA items which are customer damaged. Unfortunately this will come under that criteria so I can’t see you getting anything for it.
Personally I think items like this should be recharged to the customer but this doesn’t seem to be Amazon policy.
I also feel sorry for the poor person at your end who opened that FBA return. It makes me feel sick just thinking about it.
