De Activate VAT from Amazon Seller UK
Can someone help me how to de activate VAT from Amazon seller UK as turnover going down last two years.but still want to sell on Amazon UK.Will Amazon stop our account.Pls give guidance.

If you are located in the UK, then you need to get in touch with HMRC and deregister.
However, if you are not located in the UK and are still storing stock here, you have no option, but to remain registered for VAT.

As per above, if in the UK it’s quite straightforward - i did it about 2 months ago. I contacted HMRC and it only took them 3 or 4 days to make the change at their end. Then i went into Amazon and just deleted my VAT number. Getting it removed from ebay turned out to be harder.
