VAT question regarding Amazon seller fees
I am based in the UK and sell on amazon.com as well as amazon.co.uk
I am VAT registered in the UK and I am aware that means I do not get charged VAT on seller fees (that is clear from the VAT documents I get monthly). However, my VAT documents from my sales in the US show that I have been charged 20% VAT on those seller fees. Does anyone know whether this is something I should be claiming back from HMRC or has it gone into the US tax system and therefore not reclaimable in the UK?

From what I understand of it, it falls within marketplace facilitator tax.
ie. they take the VAT on the sale in the USA and remit it directly.
So your sales should basically be without VAT and not reclaimable.
But do check it with an accountant.
