Read onlyHI, I just received this email from Amazon:
"Starting on January 15, 2025, we will update the Valid Tracking Rate (VTR) policy for seller-fulfilled orders to allow customers to see tracking over a higher number of their orders".
So does this mean customers will see my VTR? If yes, it will look like I am not doing a good job because I am always below the 95% VTR, due to Royal Mail not scanning parcels on delivery. That feels really unfair. I am not sure how visible it will be to customers, or even if they will care, but does not feel fair to be showing customers a metric which is actually incorrect due to Royal Mail being terrible at their job.
I wish Amazon would actually think about their sellers occaisonally, instead of just customers. It will bite them back one day....
Not sure where you have come to the conclusion that amazon will display your VTR rate. That isn't what they are saying I believe.
Actually, its not really clear what they are saying, or what will now be included. If I was guessing, I would imagine the rate of 'Self Delivery' has shot up over the last year, so Amazon are essentially forcing tracking on everyone so more customers get more of an indication of when their orders are arriving. But again, the email was vague.
It'll be fine - I mean amazons own updates for where we live are it'll arrive by 10pm. Then they advise at 8pm that actually, its running late and won't arrive until tomorrow now and that they are very, very sorry. Surely its good that amazon want to raise us all up to these stunning kinds of service levels? :)
No, it doesn't mean that. At the moment if you use a non-integrated courier then they are excluded from the VTR policy - they are changing that.
It doe not mean that at all , it means where you might be able to send things non tracked , basically they want the customers to be able to track preferably all their parcels/orders
and with International they have to be sent tracked and less they are below a certain value
Not difficult to do
