I would 100% completely AVOID Royal mail

And I’m afraid I’d avoid Evri. Next Day only counts to them now if dropped off before 11am, but makes no bloomin’ difference anyway. At the moment, they are NEVER next day. Next week, maybe.
Edit: Should add, at least Parcel2Go (so I assume Evri too) have a guaranteed by… service. But even still… Just no.

and I’d be switching off Premium shipping

Avoid premium options, after trying all couriers and RM, I bought labels for FedEx for Second Day deliveries, they promised next day etc. A bit more expensive but so what, less profit but more peace of mind. Went to drop them off and surprise surprise FedEx system was down all day yesterday and they couldn’t scan them. I managed to get rid of them this afternoon.

I’ve used Evri once recently during this RM strike period - delivery was next day, but parcel left on doorstep despite note on the parcel requesting ‘please do not leave on doorstep’. On holiday on Amz at the mo due to the strikes, thinking about using Evri tomorrow to send a discogs order cd, that will be a first for me - will I think be around the price of sending Signed For RM

I dont really care that much about having it, though i have missed some deliveries over the weeks and still eligible so either it just hasnt come up yet or there is some strike protection

Just had look and definitely missed a delivery date pre 26/11. One item still doesnt say its been delivered

Do you have a UPS drop off place nearby? I find their standard service usually gets there next day. It’s £4.99 my my smallish parcels.

If you don’t have a backup and agreement with someone like DHL or APC, I would knock next day on the head until the strikes are over.
