Terminating US Account

Hey Everyone

I have an Amazon UK and Amazon US account, both registered with the same email.

I would like to have my US account terminated.

QUESTION: Would terminating my US account put my UK account in danger of being terminated as well since they are linked to the same email?

Joking aside, I think that you need to raise a case in the US and ask them.

I know that the two accounts are always treated independently but when we opened our US account, we could only do so with a different mail address to our UK account. Which, I think, offers a little more protection. In your case though, knowing the way in which Amazon work, I would approach with caution and ask the question directly of the US team.
