GTIN accessories / replacement parts

Hi,

we’re a wholesaler selling various electronic accessories and replacement parts, mostly for mobile phones, the vast majority of them having no GTIN.

Is it please possible to request a GTIN exemption for such a large catalogue of products or do we need to actually purchase EAN codes for these SKUs so we’re able to list them?

Any advice from experience sellers is highly appreciated.

Yes, you qualify for exemption based on what you said.

Eligible cases for GTIN exemption

If the brand, manufacturer or publisher does not provide a GTIN for the products (for example, private-label products or handmade products).
For non-branded products that do not have GTINs (for example, wholesale products).
If the parts do not have a GTIN (for example, some car & motorbike parts do not have a GTIN).
For bundles that do not have a GTIN (for example, customised bundles may not have a GTIN).
