This person obviously knows ho to play the system !
I would be tempted to play her bluff and say that as this has happened before, and this is now the third time, there must be a problem with her address and you will ask RM to investigate...also presumably a DVD would fit through the letterbox anyway.

Do you send with a delivery confirmation?
If it shows as delivered, i would say i have checked the tracking and it shows as delivered, it's quite rare that an item will show as delivered but not recieved and this is the 3rd time you have messaged me with the same issue, i will need to investigate this with royal mail.
Something along those lines, nothing worse than customers who know how to play the system :(

Perhaps call her out and let her know it will be reported to ActionFraud

I had one like that a few years ago. They were mostly ordering WWE DVDs, as I recall.
It turned out to be some sort of sheltered housing. After the fourth claim, I suggested contacting RM to investigate.
They then said they thought the building manager was stealing their mail and maybe they should contact the police. I answered that that might be a good idea and I also asked them not to order any more from me until the issue was sorted.
Fortunately, they haven't ordered anything from me since (as far as I know).

Don't bother with action fraud, garbage! Go route one, every areas Police Force has an online section for reporting online theft. Start filling in the form and send screenshots to the buyer, works every time, fear factor. Amazon supports scum like this, that's the problem.

If I order something such as a DVD and it doesnt arrive I contact the seller and inform them its not arrived giving the seller an opportunity to either replace or refund. I dont immediately ask for a refund when its something I wanted and no fault of the seller the order did not arrive.
I place thousands of orders online and to be honest only get one or two that dont arrive. Its concerning there are two previous refunds.
To say that Amazon has safeguards wonder what safe guards they had in this instance?
Now most of my orders are from the far east and touch wood I have never ever had one go missing, thats over 400 orders oon one website.

We send everything by tracked Royal Mail, that way if a customer says they have not received, We send them screen shots showing the Royal Mail tracking page.
This shows not just the Tracking and a photo but also the GPS Location showing where the item was scanned by the Postman.
Amazing how many come back to say they have now found it.

Had this on Monday. Buyer claims that all 18 CD's in the box set were missing when they got the parcel.

We only send fully tracked now for this reason...the daily claims were really starting to get to us. Now claims have dropped from 3 to 4 per day to about 1 or 2 per month and I don't think we've lost one in the last month as we can provide all the tracking details and photos of delivery. Only way to stop it unfortunately.
