Easy freebie on a collectable cd
Sent out a copy of Pink Floyd’s Division Bell yesterday which has a braille disc tray on early issues - I inspected it before posting, condition issues can happen, its been 7 years since I listed it, and it has been moved around a few times - there were no issues.
Message from the buyer this morning saying its damaged and none of the disc retaining prongs are present
I have messaged back saying I know this is not true, but I have offered a replacement as I can’t prove it
He says he wants a refund, which to me speaks volumes.
Nothing I can do about it as we all know how buyer centric this selling platform is

Tell them if he wants a refund he’ll need to return the order

Tell him that you will refund on return of the item, as per Amazon’s return/refund policy.

Prongs can get broken in the post, especially if the plastic is old (as would be the case on an early CD release like the one in question) but of course if that were the case then the broken bits would still be floating around somewhere in the package.
{I always add a bit of foam inside the case of (used/unsealed) CDs and DVDs to protect the prongs from getting damaged from impact when in the post.}
I’m not saying that has happened here, especially after the buyer refused a refund - that is more than slightly suspicious…
