Legal address of Amazon UK for small claims court
Hi All,
In short sent £400 of goods to a freight forwarder. They lost the goods. Amazon awarded the A2Z and I will now go through the small claims court to recover my money and have the A2Z struck off.
What is the address for serving legal papers?

No, it is Amazons listings, and they are Amazons customers.

Some terrible advice here , Op is correct , when a forwarding address is used , it is your job to deliver to the forwarding address. Any issue after that and the buyer has to take it up with the forwarding company THEY decided to use.
You fulfilled your part by delivering to the address given

The buyer didnt take the Ops funds ,
Amazon have wrongly taken the ops funds , as the buyer should have chased the forwarding company THEY had chosen to use.
So Amazon are liable for taking the funds

I would be chasing Amazon if it was myself, they should not have awarded A-Z in buyers favour and taken the money , as seller fulfilled his part
Buyer should have taken up with forwarding company not with Amazon , so not straight forward

Simply refuse to fulfil any order that is to a freight forwarder in future. Id sooner risk the hassle of dealing with that than any of this.

My understanding of this is that if you have a proof of delivery to the freight forwarder and they lost the goods then you have done all you are obliged to do as you have fulfilled your part of the contract by delivering the goods to the customer’s given address. If they have it forwarded on to a different address the problem and the loss should be with the freight agent.

I sent a letter before action, stating my case. The A 2 Z was with drawn and I got my money. Metrics were also adjusted.
