HELP! Empty boxes everywhere!
Is there anything we can do about this? I was always told that if it was bad feedback for FBA you can have it removed! Not any more.
3 bad feedback in 2 weeks all for empty boxes! And NO i do not send empty boxes they are double checked, so its either a scam on the buyer parts which is most likely as they never get in touch about it first! Or Amazon staff stealing. These days all my bad feedback is from this. Can i do anything???

If it’s FBA then that kind of feedback should be removed.
But more to the point, what exactly does the feedback say?

What type of products are you selling? Are they something that are easily stolen in the Fulfilment centre? Normally only small products can be stolen easily in a warehouse environment as they can be concealed easily and can be missed by random security checks.
Have you looked at putting tamper proof labels on the box. You can get ones which say the item has been checked and you can add a date and signature. This may help in some way, it could deter Amazon staff from stealing, not sure it would stop a buyer scam though.
As for the feedback have you tried to appeal it? The automated response might deny it but if you raise a case and get a person to look at it may work.

Have you had returns prev for these items and allowed Amazon to just add back to inventory without checking them yourself?

There was someone else selling jewellery with exactly the same problem complaining on here a couple of weeks back, sounds to me like there may be by some light fingered staff in the Fulfilment Centre itself.
I assume for jewellery and such like expensive items only one fulfilment Centre is actually
involved.

I would say for sure the warehouse staff. Read so many stories online now of staff being caught steeling from Amazon warehouses. 10 minutes on Google and you’ll be wondering how more stuff doesn’t go missing.

Do you get all returned items, returned to you?
If unwanted, faulty, any reason?
If not I’d suggest you do that. That way you can ensure anything sent out is ok. I’d never rely on Amz staff checking. Likely that could be where the issue has happened (either staff taking a return, thinking it will only be disposed of anyway. Or, they just check the outer box is returned, and put back in stock, so the next person receives an empty box).
Parcels can also be opened and goods go missing by delivery drivers.
All the above are Amazons liability and they should still pay for the item, and remove bad feedback, so keep chasing them on it

Do you gain many more sales by FBA, maybe fulfil yourself otherwise?

This is very scary! If it is Amazon staff, it is even scarier!
It’ll be interesting to know what Amazon says about this?
