Why disrupt sales 2 weeks befor Christmas
I have been informed that my sales will be will discontinue for up to 2 weeks while Amazon does an identity verification. Why 2 weeks before Christmas? I haven't changed anything so presumably this is just a routine check. I have contacted seller support who say they can't help? This is just ridiculous I sell handmade and most of my sales are now. Does Amazon just want to ruin us. It is totally dispiriting. By the time my check has come out of someone's in-tray Christmas will be over. I have been selling on Amazon for over 10 years.

This sounds like a routine verification - I had to do it earlier in the year, and been selling here 17 years !
However, I wasn't told that my sales would be discontinued ? - never seen that before, and my verification was completed within about 48hrs.

The timing is very unfair. But then fairness has never been in Amazons vocabulary. Sorry you are going through this.

I have had exactly the same. Amazon are lying because this is not a legal requirement. They are actively blocking sales of self fulfilling seller to favour the scam known as FBA.
My sales, especially EU sales have been wiped out but they're still comfortable about charging normal seller fees.

im being reverified to but still allowed to sell etc and given a 2month deadline to do , its only cause documents are valid for so long . send in new ones job done
