Velocity review turned bad!

This whole nightmare started on the 22nd of March , unbeknownst to me i received a performance notification stating my sales had picked up and i was subject to a velocity review , now i have been trading on amazon for the best part of 3 years with what can be described as a steady amount of sales . i used mainly FBA to fulfil them . once covid hit i started to list more and more items and fulfil them myself across europe which was going really well until the review. long story short i missed the message asking for the needless information of a velocitiy review. 4 days later i had received an email stating i was deactivated and to submit the information required. i replied through the i think this was in error button.
once i did submit the information i received no reply , i submitted all the information plus a plan of action through the extra information tab , again no review and now no matter what i submit i am getting no replies along with stone wall silence when i open a case log. they close the case stating it had been answered when it has not .?? ive had to lay 3 workers off and im looking at complete shut down in less than 4 weeks . can anyone point me in the direction of how to rectify this , i have included bank statements incorporation forms , pictures of emails between myself and customers about items arriving. i am completely at a loss.

According to what’s been reported elsewhere on the forum, reviews are taking a long time at present, so if you’ve sent all the requested information, I’m afraid you may just have to be patient.

FWIW, when Amazon mark a case “answered” or “closed”, that seems to mean that it’s been transferred to the relevant department. Why they don’t just say “transferred”, no one knows.

What information were you required to submit?

Have you hit the 15,000 sales limit?

Sorry for all the headache you’re going through. It’s so stressful selling on Amazon and threats of deactivation looming over us all the time. I’m making decent sales and would have liked to employ staff (I’m a one woman band at the moment) to expand the business. But there’s so much insecurity that I’m reluctant to take on help. Hope you get your get your account re-instated soon.

These kind of problems always concern me, I wish Amazon would just contact us through their own internal messaging system

  1. it would assist in eliminating fraudsters phishing etc
  2. we would be more likely to actually receive and see the message.

I don’t know about everyone else but with the amount of email and junk I get on a daily basis it would be so easy to miss an important message from Amazon. At least a red flag on my account would draw my attention to any problems.

best of luck with your appeal
