Need Help with Hijacked Listing and Brand Misrepresentation on Amazon

Hello, fellow Amazon sellers,

I’m facing a frustrating issue and could use some advice. I’m a registered Amazon seller with a trademark and brand registry. I sell branded chocolates under my own product listing. However, another seller has started selling their own product under my listing.

Customers think they are buying my chocolates, as shown in the pictures, but they end up receiving a different product from the other seller. This is misleading, damaging to my brand, and hurting my business reputation.

I’ve already reported this to Amazon, but their response is slow, and in the meantime, this issue persists.

Has anyone faced a similar problem? What steps did you take to resolve it quickly and effectively? Any tips on how to escalate this with Amazon or prevent it in the future?

Your insights would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Crunchy.

You need to buy one of his products on your listing.

This gives Amazon a definitive claim against this person, with a tracking and order number

Then go to brand registry sign in, click "Report a new violation" and enter your asin.

Mark the product that is yours and click on the "report 1 selected" at the top right and click on "Trademark Infringement"

Then, fill out the info like i have below.

You will find that they will almost instantly will be removed. They will also have an account health issue that will cause them immediate problems with their account and probably put it at risk.

You can try doing this without buying the product, but sometimes Amazon will deny this.

Hello @Seller_UA3OOJD5yRj7x

Following on this thread. The advice provided by peer Seller is the best action. Actions can be taken a little to be shown, the reason of this is that investigation is taking place, Amazon, needs to confirm and notify both parts.

Any assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out to our support channel.
