Trying to change brand name

I’ve enrolled my brand onto brand registry and now want to change my listing onto my brand, i keep getting hit with this error message, ‘The value specified cannot be used as it conflicts with the value ‘Fonce’ for ASIN Z in the Amazon catalogue. If this is ASIN ‘’, update the value to match the ASIN data. If this is a different product, update identifying information (UPC/EAN/Part Number/etc).’

How do I fix this?

Policy states that you should create a new listing if you are ‘changing’ the brand name

Did you really have to? The Amazon catalogue is already full of “brand” names that are totally unknown to buyers so they’ll never search for them and won’t recognise them if they do appear. As a result, there can be multiple duplicate listings for exactly the same generic product but each with someone’s “brand” name on them

Brand names take years of effort and money to become famous and sought after. Unfortunately, it’s very unlikely that yours ever will

You can’t do this retrospectively as it’s now a different product

You can log a case to seller support, with your product and/or packaging images , clearly showing FNSKU, and EAN along your brand name/logo, however be very specific on the ASINs, if you have Parent and Child ASINs ,
