Chargeback Email to Old Address
So for some reason we received a chargeback email to our old email address which was on the Amazon account until 2021, it is a legit email because I looked up the order number, we also received one last year, all other emails from Amazon e.g. verification etc go to the new one.
I’ve checked throughout seller central and there is no record of the old email address anywhere.
I replied to the email straight away as it was asking for tracking details and confirmation of delivery, but I’m worried that Amazon won’t link it to our account, although they did email us so must have some record of that email address somewhere? Should I email them again from the new email address letting them know about the wrong email address?
Also the chargeback amount is $160 however the order was only £29 so this is making me extra worried incase they decide against us.
When searching in the forums i’ve also seen sellers say they didn’t receive an email so maybe this is why… Amazon are still sending chargeback emails to old email addresses?
