Change packaging dimensions for FBA

Hi, hoping someone can point me in the right direction, 2 things.

  1. some of our items that we have sent to FBA Small and Light have been measured wrong by Amazon, we stated 2.4cm (which they are) and Amazon has measured them at 2.9cm so they fall into a higher price bracket, is there a way to remedy this?

  2. some of our products are being re packed by us into smaller outer boxes before sending our next shipment to keep storage costs down, I have looked everywhere but for the life of me cannot find where you can edit the package dimensions? When we first sent them to FBA we had to declare sizes, but how do we now change this to reflect the new sizes?

Any help much appreciated.

you should be able to change them on the vital info tab in your inventory listing

if you are asking amazon to remeasure the new ones you have sent in in new packaging, you may need to wait until the previous batch sell out otherwise they may still be measuring your old batch rather than the new smaller version

I get this problem also, I send pretty much the same product in same packaging across different variations and some how Amazon has different dimensions for all of them…

This is the method that I use which sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t.

Go to help (top right of screen in seller central)
Scroll down to “need more help?” and click get support
Select selling on Amazon
Type remeasure request into the box and click continue
Scroll down and enter the ASIN you want them to remeasure
Follow the remaining steps (cant remember them exactly but its pretty straight forward)
