INR after 6 months
Just had a message from a buyer saying they did not receive their item. When I checked I found that they ordered on the 12 December. 21 days used to be the cut off for reporting INR.
Does anyone know how long RM keep their tracking information? Site is saying “Currently unable to confirm status”
Thanks for any help.

Don’t worry about RM and just refuse the INR. 90 Days is the Amazon cut off time for problems with transactions

Probably shoved through the latter box without scanning the barcode… According to what I am reading on this forum, you have got no chance of winning this one with Amazon… On the other hand I had a similar situation on eBay although customer was given his money back eBay still managed to reverse their decision due to the unforeseen circumstances. They don’t do this often. If it’s Royalmail recorded they ask you to wait 14 days for UK and 30 working days for international in order to class the item as lost in transit… I am not sure if they still compensate even if the item is delivered after their deadlines. I can only ask you to contact the customer advise them of a reasonable deadline of for example 7 days if the item doesn’t arrive by then, you will offer a full refund. Customer will be more inclined to go along with it.

Oops, did not realise it’s over 6 months! You can try to deny it however if they contact Amazon they may open it or issue an automatic refund just for good CS.

Well out of policy!
Respond (a brief polite refusal. It’s too late to affect your metrics or leave feedback.) and move on.

Thanks all. I wonder if they are sending the same message to all the sellers they bought from? Have responded politely, and will wait to see if any more comes from it.

Claim limit is 80 days, according to RM’s official leaflet, so out of policy for them, too
