Barcode Conflict
I am trying to add my product to Amazon however I am receiving the below error message. I generated my barcodes online for my products, is it possible that someone could have the same EAN as me? I expected my barcodes to be unique when I acquired them.
Is there any way around this or will I have to add completely new barcode to all my products?
The value ‘1234567890913’ specified cannot be used as it conflicts with the value ‘1234567890913’ for ASIN Z in the Amazon catalogue. If this is ASIN ‘B0146NUDLM’, update the value to match the ASIN data. If this is a different product, update identifying information (UPC/EAN/Part Number/etc).

Thanks for any support.

Hi, Did you get your barcodes from gs1?
if not that could be the problem

The error is telling you that another product is associated with the barcode you are trying to use.
Do a search for it and you will probably find it, though it may not be on the UK site.

I am having trouble with a listing a variation product. I added all the information with the new bar code however it is stating that it is the same as the parent listing even though clearly its a different variation with different UPC code, SKU, etc.
Here is the error message I have received:
The value ‘00230355200345’ specified cannot be used as it conflicts with the value ‘00335789073858’ for ASIN ‘B05S9C36QP’ in the Amazon catalog. If this is ASIN ‘B05S9C36QP’, update the value to match the ASIN data. If this is a different product, update identifying information (UPC/EAN/Part Number/etc.).
Any information is super helpful?
