INDIVIDUAL FEES multiple variants

We produce patchwork tiles (18x variants) and would offer each variant individually to give customers the choice.
Is the individual selling fee per individual item or per sale?
If I sell 2x of the same item is it x2 fees?
Is there a way of listing to avoid unnecessary fees?

It depends whether or not you’re on a professional selling plan and whether or not the category you’re listing in has a per item fee. Amazon’s referral fee is usually 15% + VAT of the sale price (but varies quite a lot depending on category), so it doesn’t make a difference whether this is per item or per order.
