UK Account Block due to lack of UK VAT Number / No FBA inventory storage / Please help

My UK seller account has been deactivated due to missing UK VAT number (I am not using FBA since January 9th / all disposed as of February 23rd).

All my items are sent from outside the UK and i have explained this to the relevant team that i no longer using FBA services and do not store any UK inventory, but unfortunatelly they did not understand what i was tellling them i'm afraid

My account has been deactivated in error and I am confirming for you the following:

* my account, *****, is only shipping to Amazon customers from inventory located outside of the UK

* I am not currently storing any inventory in the UK that is available for sale on Amazon

* I have not stored any inventory in the UK, which was available for sale on Amazon, after my UK VAT de-registration.

* I am unable to deselect the United Kingdom as my Home marketplace from the "Fulfilment by Amazon Setting" in Seller Central.

Waiting for your kind response and your help to reactivate my UK account

if you are not a UK resident then you are required to be Vat registered in Uk. Why did you de-register?

I understand your UK account has been deactivated due to missing VAT information, and that you are no longer using FBA or storing inventory in the UK. However, it’s important to clarify that VAT compliance is still required if you previously stored goods in the UK via FBA even if the inventory was later removed or disposed of.

As such, the deactivation of your account is not an error. According to UK regulations and Amazon policy, sellers who have stored inventory in the UK must provide a valid UK VAT number, even after inventory is no longer held there. Unfortunately, there is no exemption to this requirement.

To proceed with reactivating your account, please register for a UK VAT number if you haven’t already, and upload the details in Seller Central under Account Info > Tax Information. Once submitted, the relevant team will re-evaluate your account status.

If you’ve already registered and uploaded your VAT number, but your account remains deactivated, I recommend reaching out again through the contact path in Seller Central and referencing your previous case for faster review.
