I need help with my Legal Entity Name and insurance requirements on my Amazon seller account. As a non-U.S. citizen, I registered an LLC in the United States to purchase the required insurance for selling on Amazon.
My Situation:
-My Amazon Legal Entity Name is my personal name because I am the sole member of my LLC and taxed as a disregarded entity.
-I had to register an LLC to obtain insurance since I am not a U.S. citizen.
-My insurance provider issued the policy under my LLC name. However, Amazon has rejected the insurance documents because the policyholder name does not match my personal Legal Entity Name.
My Questions:
-Can I request the insurance provider to update the insurance document with my personal name as the policyholder while keeping the LLC as a DBA? Would this meet Amazon's requirements?
-If not, can someone from Amazon guide me on the appropriate way to match my insurance with my Amazon Legal Entity, since i already succesfully bought it via Amazon Insurance recommendation?
I can provide all documentation proving my status as the sole owner of the LLC and that it is my registered business. Please let me know if this would help in resolving the issue.
