Delays in shipping to Spain and Italy

We are seeing significant delays in a batch of items shipped from UK between 08/03 and 14/03.Appeasr to not be tracking once they are leaving the UK - raised with Parcelforce and GLS in the UK
Any one else seeing similar issues Thanks in advance

Hi,
italy have been experiencing some IT issues for past few months and have just managed to sort through the backlog,
and Spain have changed their customs slightly.
we use the following link from Royal Mail to look into individual country delays etc

Thank you for the info, it seems to have been fine for several months but last couple of weeks are the issue . Would you proactively contact customers ?? - we are concerned about atoz and negatives.

I’ve been seeing this alot this week.

In the past couple of days, we’ve had 5 spanish customers ask where their orders are, some dating back to mid february.

One of the customers told me that in spain they are having similar issues to the UK, with rising petrol prices, and I think Correos staff may also be striking.

I do think a part to play for the delays is the customs office, and the parcels being held up there, due to Brexit, but I think there’s issues with Correos post as well.

Since I found out about this a couple of days ago, I’ve been contacting any spanish customer who now makes an order, just so they are aware that their order is probably going to arrive after the expected arrival date.

Luckily everyone has been understanding so far!
