8058 Some attributes are missing for SKU (parent)
I have problem to create variations using latest templates.
I uploaded a flat file, and it created children but not parent
8058 Some attributes are missing for SKU. For more details, see http://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/gp/errorcode/8058
I noticed all attributes in battery section are required. But I have no batteries in my product.
What attributes are required for parent?
Regards
Jack
EDIT*****************************************
I managed to create parent by removing few attributes (Age Range Description, Footwear Size System)
Unfortunately now I have error 8016
The product data provided was insufficient for creating a variation (parent/child) relationship for SKU: [LOFOO]. Ensure that the parent and child share the same variation theme and that there is a submission for variation theme attributes (eg. size and color for size_colour variation theme).
I think the problem is in product_type. The template product type is "boot" but the system changed all children to "ONE_PIECE_OUTFIT" and now the parent to "OVERALLS"
It looks like I have to save children as OVERALLS now. But how?

Oh, boy, are you in for a good time. See our thread here:
https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/seller-forums/discussions/t/529381c4-1d98-4194-9aa6-ec72fc7a7dd1
Amazon's bots have the annoying tendency to change the product_type from what you upload to something else entirely, often completely unrelated. In our case, another bot then gave us policy violations because the product_types the first bot selected are wrong. So many, in fact, that our account is about to be deactivated.
If we had any advice on how to fix this, we'd pass it along, but dealing with Amazon is like banging your head against a brick wall.
If you've not yet started getting slapped for these having the incorrect product_type, you could try getting seller support to change the product_type to the correct one. We tried that and they replied back quickly to say they'd done it - but the ASIN still had the incorrect Amazon applied one. They were either wrong, lying, or the bot changed it back immediately afterwards. No idea.
Also, the template data definitions are wrong. Some fields marked required, such as the ones in Compliance for batteries, aren't required at all. Others that are marked as preferred, such as apparel_body_type are often required.
