New low from a buyer

Received some FBA sold headphones back today from a customer and they have just put weights in the packing and glued the box and packing shut
What should I do

How far you go with it, depends on the value and how far your willing to go.

You can process the refund with a 100% deduction due to condition / missing parts. You have to upload photo’s to show the reason why you have made the deduction.
Be prepared for an A-Z claim though, so dont do this if your account can not take it. We have done about 20 like this so far this year, and only 1 has gone to A-Z, most buyers realise they have been caught, or do it all the time, so do not want Amazon looking too close.

It’s an FBA item so Amazon refunded the buyer in full. I only got the item back a few days ago
It’s so bad really, as the box the headphones came in was glued shut, then when I did force it open the headphone case had been glued and the zip snapped off, then inside was more glue and a set of weights. I guess this has been done to prevent Amazon from opening the package
It’s around £260 to me so will be taking action. Contacted the buyer and this morning he replied and said I can get lost, then he opened a fake item being sold case with Amazon who have just asked me to provide all invoices for the headphones. Seems that the customer is just trying to battle with me and hope I don’t take it further.
I have sent all appropriate documents to Amazon with photos so let’s hope they reimburse me or I will have to take it to the small claims court

Last update, contacted the police and they have reported it as theft. This information has been passed to amazon

Hi all,
Amazon would not refund me, the contact details I needed for the police Amazon would not provide, because the order only shows part of the buyers address and Amazon won’t share with me the full address.
A little disappointing
