Auto authorised return - Customers requesting return to sender
We are getting a lot of incidences of customers returning an item and getting the refund at first scan. They are then going into Hermes with the tracking number and requesting a return to sender. This means they are getting a full refund and the goods are being redirected back to them!!
Raised a Safe-T claim. Amazon not interested and refused even with the proof from Hermes. This appears to be a massive loop hole in the system and we are being defrauded on a regular basis.
Can we turn auto authorized off and manage returns ourselves via DPD?

Nope no way to avoid the automated process aside from on ASINs over £100.
this loophole is a new one on me - but a serious one even on a small scale. From amazons point of view, their policy has always been clear - if lost in the post you are supposed to claim via the courier. But it isn't lost.
However, where do you stand on this - as this is a flagrant abuse of labels that are on Amazons Evri account. @Julia_Amazon @Winston_Amazon any thoughts on this one?
