Food and Product Safety Issues
Hi, recently Amazon striking me with market withdrawal and product safety issue for my listings, and I don’t really understand the reason, Is this something common? I’m packing the products by my self when sending it to FBA and I know the package is safe and in one piece.

Are your products food ?
If not, have you checked they are correct category
If the issue is product safety of your beauty products, have they requested any documents - and have you got the relevant safety sheets ?
Edit, there were issues previously with one of your products and labelling - are you in uk and do you buy your stock in uk ?

It’s beauty products, and yes I’m in UK
So I need to provide this documents:
For non-food products:
• Declaration of Conformity (DoC) if applicable to the product/Proof of registration with CPNP (if cosmetic);
• Test reports to back up the DoC;
• Images of the product and packaging showing all mandatory markings and labels; and
• Copy of the user manual
Is this something I need to ask from my suppliers? besides pictures and copy of the user manual.

This is definitely becoming normal and almost a daily occurrence. Amazon don’t know what they are asking for half the time. I’ll get different requests for the same item but on a different variant. Then one document will be accepted for one, rejected for another.

Its fine but I think they forgot to inform the teams how to properly deal with the requests once sellers provide the documents required. The most frustrating is when they claim a product has been recalled (they havent’) and then want a letter from a manufacturer stating why it hasnt been recalled???

The products I’m selling are from well known cosmetics brands which I buy from wholesalers, so does the wholesalers should have this documents?

You may find it harder to get the test report from the manufacture.
