Payment to me went to an old closed bank account how to retrieve it
I had an item sell I haven’t sold on Amazon before and then because i didn’t change to my latest bank account the payment went to a now-closed account how do IK identify and obtain the funds back as i set it up ages ago i think the bank is one that has now closed now.

If the account and bank? is now closed then the payment wont go through and Amazon will get it back - eventually. Suggest you update your bank details now on Amazon but you will have to first input the old details before entering the new ones. Do it on your Buyer account first then give it couple of hours - then try inputting to seller account.
Its not possible for you to get the banks to pay it to you as Amazon were the sender not yourself.

Usually you leave a standing instruction when closing a account that any monies received for that account are forwarded to you new account.
You can also ask Amazon to recall the payment. I have done this successfully in the past.
