Language Problems
Hello, Does anyone on here have any suggestions on how to speak to someone in English where English is their first language? I’m having a nightmare trying to add a product, with different sizes. So far I have been advised to copy listings but this is messing up my existing listings. I’ve just spoken to two people now and they haven’t understood me so the phone just goes quiet. I think they are hoping that you put the phone down which I eventually do.

To be fair most of seller support speak excellent English and I haven’t really found language as much of an issue.
The main issue is that seller support have very few tools that can really help you and if you do find the comms difficult then have you considered using chat instead?
Failing that post your issue on the forum without specific details and someone on here maybe able to help you.

This may sound redundant, but have you looked at the seller university? A lot of listing problems can be solved there. Either that, or raise tickets until you get a good enough response, that’s what I usually end up having to do!
I have found that unless it is a specific department (Amazon freight/logistics, seller Flex etc), then it is a coin toss whether you will have your issue resolved.
As JR stated, language isn’t usually an issue, its the seller support agent actually being able to assist with your issue.

Just a tip on this and i am only advising you what a good seller support operative will advise in this sort of thing is to use uploads to list products rather than doing it product by product especially if you want to to parent and child variations. You can check the spreadsheet is fine and it will also troubleshoot any issues you are facing with it.
