Declaration of Conformity
Hi guys and gals - many thanks to those who have provided advice previously too
I’ve just been un-gated in crayola and noticed an email to provide a Declaration of Conformity and photos for two products.
For one product, I only had one unit and it’s already in Amazon, so as I have until September, I’m best off just selling it and deleting the listing?
The second product, however, is a crayola product that came in today’s shipment and I have it here with me still.
I read a few previous threads; am I right to understand that all I need to do is
- Take photos of all sides;
- Contact the people on the box who distribute crayola - who I believe are called Binney & Smith (Europe) Ltd, and ask them for this Declaration of Conformity?
I get the feeling that this seems too easy, and there’s going to be something I’ve missed out…
Oh yeah, I was going to ask, is this a regular thing? Like every week or so we have to send off conformity reports if we list new products?
Kind regards
Steve

You will have to provide it for various items - particularly toys
The supplier should be able to supply this to you to send to amazon

hello, this seems to be a new thing and im struggling with it, my supplier is refusing as the manufacturer doesnt allow reselling, do we have to be an approved supplier? not alot of people seem to like amazon resellers and this seems to be for all kids toys…
